2 week weight loss post op

Hello I'm 1 week 1 day post op and was wondering what everyone ones experience was with the 2 week liquid diet. I have lost 11 pounds but the scale seems to be stuck now and I'm doing exactly what I should. Any others with this is it normal?

And you should not be concerned with weight loss at this point and not for the first 6 weeks. It's healing time now. Doctors and nutritionists don't tell you in the seminars the whole story. You may not lose fat till you find some restriction. Most weight loss at this point is only Water.

I totally agree 2muchfun

I put on weight after my surgery date. The pre op diet is designed for rapid weight loss. My APRN told me not to worry about it. After my fourth fill I began to see some weight loss. He told me he'd be happy to see a one to 1/2 pound weight loss per week. The best thing I did was joining a gym and getting on the treadmill--that has made a difference. All of my weight loss has been in the past few weeks, three months after being banded!
