The risk is, if you are obese and don't have surgery or find another way to lose weight, you will stay fat, you'll expose yourself to dozens of unwanted ailments(arthritis, gout, diabetes, heart disease) and a possible early departure from this world. Just being frank!

i agree with TMF

dont have surgery and either get bigger or remain where you are

or have the surgery, follow the dr's instructions and lose weight and get healthy.

every surgery (including manicures) have risks.

up to you to weigh the options and decide. just dont think this is an easy way out. if you want surgery and expect a month later to have lost 100 pounds, dont have this surgery.
