    The band can't cause lactose intolerance because it doesn't change your digestive system or even touch your intestines.

    I would talk to your doctor to figure out the cause and best course of action.

    I seemed to develop it too, because of the protein shakes. I started using Lactaid pills and that is taking care of it!
