My surgery was today and I'm home but anytime I try and eat some broth I throw up my water and the broth is this something I need to worry about? I am on anti nausea meds too

Call your Dr let him know... Take things slow.

I had surgery 3/12, I've had no problems keeping down water, broth or jello!

I had a real hard time the first 2 days.. But once the swelling went down I felt better.. Call your surgeon tomorrow if you still can't hold anything down

I had a rough time for about a month with adjusting to the band. I was on nausea medication, anti inflammatory and something to get my digestive system moving. I hated broth so I didn't do that but I made sure I sipped my Gatorade and water as much as a could tolerate. I also had to at one point be hospitalized because I was dehydrated. So call your doctor don't wait too long. Good luck and it does get better.

Thanks for the advice.. I sipped a very small amount it was a baby spoon I was using water is only coming back up with the broth. So I don't know hopefully it the swelling from the surgery and passes in the morning.
