I was wondering if anyone has found a relatively good tasting, high Protein shake? I'm not looking for any fancy flavors, vanilla and chocolate are just fine. I've tried the Premier Protein (30g of protein) chocolate flavor that I got from costco, but they had a very strange texture to them. Also I recently got some vanilla Muscle Milk Light (20g of protein) but someone just told me that they have heavy metals in them, like cadmium and arsenic?!? I have to research this more, cause that's totally unacceptable.

Just wondering what you may have tried that works for you guys. Any input is much appreciated!

I buy Body fortress and use 2 scoops. I add into the chocolate (only flavor I will drink) a small amount of decaf instant coffee, peppermint extract, 8 oz. skim milk and tons of ice cubes and it becomes a great thick shake. I have been having them for one year for breakfast. They really fill me up for 3-6 hours. You can buy it at Walmart, Walgreen's (more money), CVS.

I use EAS 100% Whey Protein powder and mix it with unsweetened almond coconut milk. I add flavor from sf jello pudding powder and grind fresh nutmeg in. Delish!

I use Pure Protein vanilla. 16 oz unsweetened Almond Milk 2 scoops and a handful of whatever berries are on sale a couple ice cubes and a blender. Good stuff.

Also, adding a banana and a tablespoon of sugar free vanilla pudding. Mmmm filling.

I bought the "New Direction" line from my bariatric center for both my pre-op diet as well as my post-op diet and they taste fantastic...I was interested to find they also have shakes that you can heat up and are soup flavors like cream of chicken and broccoli cheddar!

So far for me, I like Designer Whey Chocolate.

Like carb control eas. And love the caramel flavor.
