Starting the process.

I have my first appointment next Wednesday. I have to meet with the dietitian along with the physician. According to my insurance company I have to wait 6 months before I can have my band placed. What am I going to do for 6 month waiting on this to be place?

I have a little over a month left on my 6 month months and I wouldn't trade this 6 months for the world. They are giving me the time needed to really prepare myself.

Because of hospital changes where I went, I waited almost 10 months. During that time I went to all the monthly support meetings. I started drinking the protein shakes 5 months before the band, also. I still have them every morning for my breakfast. Another good thing to do is walk. Try it, it may help with your weight loss, also. Keep logging onto this site and learn and ask questions. We don't judge, but tell the truth and always try to help.

Good luck!!!!!!
