new to this..

Hello everyone I was banded on 2/25/13.. Was just wondering if it is normal not to be hungry or have to remind yourself to drink the first couple days?? Im much more mobile today but still have this overwhelming feeling of chest tightness is this all normal the first week??

I think it's completely normal. Just remind yourself to get your fluids in. Small sips. Your stomach is swollen, but it will go down.

I had mine on 22nd and I feel the tightness too!

It suxs and I feel guilty cus I can't drink Water ether, and I use to drink it before Surgery, but it hurts, so I take all day to drink 48 oz lol and juice on the side the beef broth makes me feel worse than chicken? Lets just hope we feel better later !
