Stuck or not?

Just a quick question :) I was banded in November never been stuck, PB'ed, or been sick. However a few times I have the feeling of something in my throat this time I ate sweet corn and I think it maybe the skin it's just sitting there bobbing up and down as I swallow. It's been a few days I can eat and drink without difficultly. Any ideas? Anyone else had this? Is this a stuck feeling? I have no pain it's just annoying.

Thank you!!!

My stuck feeling is a feeling of pressure right around where the sternum is. Feels like a golf ball sized balloon has infllated. Most stuck episodes last about 30-45 minutes for me and then they are behind me. Once the episode begins, I can't eat or drink anything until the pressure subsides. It's usually not painful, just uncomfortable. But on occasion, it creeps up on being very close to painful, but only for a few minutes.

Some people experience some swelling from these episodes. This would increase the chances of getting stuck on even smaller amounts of food or even Water if their band is tight.

Like the outside of sweetcorn the skin - sorry if I am not being clear! It happened once before with the skins of lentils guess they are hard to chew up? I know some people have issues with apple skins....... It just feels like its in my throat.....

So you have corn kernels in your throat? I have no experience with anything hanging around in my throat so I can't answer that? Seems like a good swig of Water should wash it all down?

Thanks for our help but water didn't help! It's been days! Hoping it just goes down on its own soon. Feel like its trying to every time I swallow but it does not quite make it - I know weird. I will ask my doc office Monday.

Good plan...ask the doc!
