Did anyone else experience

Hello Everyone,

Did anyone else experience having a very tough (to the touch) and heavier belly after surgery? I have been walking however, every time I have to get up, I feel that if I don't like my belly, the pain is worse.

Overall, fluids are not an issues at all and I do not feel any restriction on my band during this liquid phase. Just really curious about the toughness and feeling of being pulled down by my belly? Anyone else out have this happen?

Thank you for your advice :) Diana

You just had surgery a couple days ago, so I'm guessing it's distended and sore from the air they pump in during surgery. Walking will help your body to re-absorb it faster. Some find a heating pad

Walking will help your body to re-absorb it faster. Some find a heating pad helps, too.

Best wishes.

My belly feels like that too.supporting it sure helps when i get up.very heavy feeling

I think for me, it was the port that has been attached to the muscle that felt like it was weighing my belly down. The good news is...after most of the gas and bloating subsided, and the port area was less tender....that feeling went away. Give it some time.
