port site

Does anyone know if it's supposed to be hard and a little warm to the touch where the port is? 9 days post op, staples out yesterday and today the site is a little warm. Help please.

The port site is very slow to heal... 3-4 weeks. b If you are concerned or it is oozing any at all, I would call the doctors office to double check with them.

The warmth has subsided and it's hard cause I am feeling the actual port. I feel stupid now. But all is well. I am so happy I got the band done.

I feel a hard lump where mine is and yes, its warm. It was sewn into muscle. Mine is upper right abdomen.
