Unfortunately you are stil healing and it will be some time before some can drink all 64 oz. Trying all day is the only way and don't try and sip any Water close to the time you drank a Protein drink. The Protein Drink gives you a temporary full feeling and nobody drinks much water. Try and do what the doctors want us all the do, after eating a meal (yes, Protein Drinks included) after 30-60 minutes depending on your doctor, sip the water. The pouch is new on the band and healing will take several weeks. I stayed on liquids close to 30 days after surgery to help the pouch heal better. Lots of Protein shakes, SF Jello, SF popsicles. Lots of broths with sprinkled dried onions to give it additional flavors.

Best wishe and keep the faith.

I can tolerate Soup right now it gets me gagging like today which I threw up and that started acid reflux and the hiccups/burps. Everyday is a learning process. Best wishes
