The surgery went well today. The gas in my stomach and left arm are the worst pain but it's been a little easier with walking and heating pad. The cuts made are uglier than I imagined, hopefully they fade well. I'm so ready for this journey. Thanks everyone for all the wonderful pre-op advice. It really helped me to make my way to the post open side.

Congratulations! Keep walking a little each hour. It really helps with the gas. Make sure you are drinking all the time. Keep a glass with you at all times. You will forget and since we can't drink a lot at one time you can easily fall behind and you don't want to become dehydrated. Best to you!
