I Hi i am on my day 10 post operation i failed to have smashed food and jumed to hard the only problem is burping any similar experience so far lost nothing

Try to keep it to at least semi soft. Remember your body is still healing. Burping probably means slow down and chew more.

Really try to do soft foods - you can hurt your self and your band if you don't. The burping is likely just to much air in your gi track. Are you drinking soda? (most doctors say this is a no no) Are drinking from a straw- this adds air? Are you eating fast? All these things can cause extra air in your gi system.
