Day 3 of liquid diet

I am on day 3 of my pre-op liquid. I have such a head ache and have been getting the runs. Has any one else had this problem? Any suggestion? I am extremely tired also. I have 7 more days before surgery.

I had all the above, it's the carb and sugar withdrawal!

It's hard. Very hard. I'm on Day 7 and the first 3 days were the worst for me. It does get better, but I have been hungry for a week. Imodium has been my friend too. :(

It will be so worth it when you go down a pants size, I lost 22 pounds on my pre-op liquid diet. I was so miserable but now I'm glad I did it. From time to time, I go on a 3 day protein shake fast to jump start my weight loss.

What you are experiencing is normal. Your body is withdrawing from toxins, caffeine, sugar and fat. The headache should be gone soon.... Keep up the good work. It will be worth it!!
