Oh puree how i love thee....lol

Today was my first visit since my surgery last week. Dr says everything is progressing great. I was shocked cuz I actually got to chew today even if it was purée. My husband works at a long term hospital so he brought me home some purée chicken, turkey, green Beans and broccoli(that I'm not allowed to have). Then another week of soft foods then 2 weeks from now I'll be on my lifestyle meal plan. I was surprised that I was going to go thur the meal plans so quickly. I'm so excited...NSV!!!! Oh and I've lost 9 lbs to boot since surgery!!!! Lovin' 2013!!!!

I am 4 months out and had one of my post op pureed meals today. Chicken, a bit of bbq sauce, cheese in my magic bullet (not as pureed as post surgery (thick peanut butter), but pureed enough) (ate this with a fork during pureed) but tonight, heated it and put it on a rice cracker..........yummo
