PORT ANGRY

Okay was banded dec 10 i notice this is the second time my port area seems really tender to touch i could feel the port a little pain minor very minor is this common out of no where no reasons for your port area to be irritated ?

The port is sewn into the wall of the abdominal cavity so it's still healing just 2 weeks post op... I would think it would be normal to have some irritation. I don't recall mine ever being bad however and if it were I would have called the dr.

My doctor said that the scar tissue has to heal around the port and that random pains stretching et. Is normal for awhile after surgery. Even inlaces you don't expect.
