Just called my insurance company and i have been approved. Busted out crying at work out of pure relief and excitement. Waiting for a call back from the surgeon's office on next step. I am beyond excited at this moment!!!!!

to all of you that have been banded I want to say thank you for the advice (the good and bad times) that you bring to this forum. I have read and studied and made notes from all of this. I know I have the support here to fall back on when i feel down or out. THANK YOU!

I'll never forget my elation when I got my insurance approval letter!

That's really exciting! I all but jumped up and down when the ins. told me I was approved! I went around and told my close coworkers and they cried with me!! I'm getting banded on the 21st and know that I have an amazing support system on the forum and at work

Now i am freaking out. the surgeons office asked me to call and have the insurance company fax a letter stating i was approved instead of waiting on it via mail. the guy i spoke with asked if my surgeon was in network. With my insurance to cover the doctor has to be in network..now I am confused and wondering if i got excited too early.
