Not to spark a huge debate but I'm really struggling to decide what will be best for me post surgery. I'm having surgery on Wednesday and I haven't had to do a liquid diet preop.

My doctor suggested SF carnation instant Breakfast and a drink like Ensure or the premade Atkins drinks. I'm just nervous about not getting enough Protein. Did anyone else's surgeon suggest this?

I also need something convenient and that I can pick up at a Walmart or GNC as ill need it for the end of the week. Suggestions please??

I use EAS premade but let me just say this: what taste good to you now may not taste good after surgery. I would recommend you try a few but dont buy a lot until you know after surgery you will like it. The ones I bought before I hated after because your taste will change. EAS carb control chocolate is very good, no after taste and is 17 grams per serving.

Ever try those E-Z Mac packets? It's kinda like that but a lil thicker. Idk if I'll use it with pasta as I would think it should taste like kraft mac n cheese and it won't lol. But that's just me.
