No really, its painless. What I do the two fills I've received is ask the doctor, how much cc of saline he used. Then I keep a personal running total on my profile signature.

You will do good. You shouldn't worry over the adjustments. I never feel mine.

I was very nervous about mine as well but I don't even really feel it and my doctor doesn't use anything to numb me first either. He has me do a crunch to help him find my port then he puts the needle in does the fill and pulls it out. Then I sit up and have to drink a small cup of water before I can leave.
