Approved after my peer to peer today! My surgery will be on 12/12/12! Anyone else? I started my preop yesterday. I don't have to do liquids but a 1,000 calorie diet. So far, so good.

yes my date is 12/12/12 also,,, i started my atkins diet (dr recommended) yesterday too,,, im very excited and scared too,,, good luck to us :)

Congrats on your approval, I got my approval last Thursday and my date is also 12/12/12. I started my pre-op diet yesterday so far so good but these Protein shakes are not all that bad (at least not yet anyway). So many will be getting married that day, but I will be getting a much needed divorce from the old me & food. I am so looking forward to this new beginning. SO EXCITED!

My surgery date is 12/12/12 also. I think that means good luck! I started my liquid diet yesterday. I think this is going to be the hardest part. I don't have my insurance approval yet. But hopefully it will happen next week. Let's keep in touch 12/12/12 banders! I'm in North Jersey.
