I have a pain on my side by my ribs when i breath and my shoulder is hurting too I was band on 11/2/12 could I still have gas in my stomach

It may be from the tube rubbing up against the diaphragm. I had the same problem. Left shoulder right? It is what gave me the most problems. Call ur dr to see about taking Advil or something. Hang in there!

I started a thread a while ago about the shoulder pain because it wasn't until I had my post op appointment that I found out wait was causing it.

Shoulder pain- revealed

Other bansters explained it there better than I did!

You probably still have gas, I am over 2 months out and had a gas episode this week..........uck. Walk around that seems to help me.
