I am over 2 months out and had a wicked one in my shoulder/next last night. It was the first one in about 4 weeks.......guess they may lurk for a while.

I only had them overnight. I used heating pad on top of my shoulders and this helped alleviate the gas. Sip lots of Water and walk, walk, walk.

Hang in there.

My gas pains were horrific under my rib cage right after surgery. They decreased with activity and got better each day. I am now four days post-op and only feel them once in a while, they come and go but no longer really bother me.

The best relief for me was walking. I did buy Gas-x strips, and they worked really great along with Walking......
