Port Protruding?

My port is protruding out of my stomach, I'm 5 months post, I asked dr she don't seem concerned but I just don't like the feeling of it!

I think that's normal as you continue to lose weight. Eventually you may opt to have a low profile port put in.

Yes, as we lose weight in the port area, it is common to feel the port even more. It should be attached to nearby muscle so it doesn't move. I rather feel mine and know its working by the weight scale than in my past on my yo-yo diets. I do have a low profile port installed on band date and I still feel mine.

Thanks guys! It's not so bad but I do hit it a lot bumping into counters! It's pretty sharp and after eating it sticks out even more it's like something out of a syfi movie!
