Just told today, what I already feared... My band has slipped. Been 1 yr post op this week and down 60 lbs. I felt like I was making slow but steady progress. My Dr told me he has never had an i-band slip before. Anyone else out there had this happen?

How do you know without the Dr saying it that your band has slipped. I mean does it feel weird .I know others have lots of problems with reflux and vomiting did that happen to you?/

An I band is a lap band with a plication. My clue was that over night I literally couldn't keep anything down, not even ice. It was out of the blue, and not after a fill.

I'm very sorry to hear this. What is the plan now? Are you on liquids to try to let it go back into place, or do you need more surgery?
