Frustrated, No Weight Loss

I had my second fill last week. I'm at 6 cc, total loss 28 pounds, 10 pre-op, 18 post. I'm 2 months post op. my doc says I'm right on track with my weight loss, but I feel hungry a lot and the scale hasn't moved in three weeks:-( he says next months fill number 3 is going to be " the one" that make me realize the band is there. I am exercising, honestly I'm not tracking my food everyday, it gets exhausting!!! Just trying to go with how I feel most of the time. U have yet to feel any difference from this second fill. I know I need to be patient! Just would be nice to see that scale going down. My clothes are a lot looser and have even gone down to a 16 from an 18. Guess I just need some encouragement:-)

  • you lost 28 lbs in two months and your frustrated?? Did your doc tell you that a plateau (which may suck) is a NORMAL part of losing weight??

  • It will come. Patience. You can't lose years of weight over night. Your body is getting used to the new everything. In time with the food reduction your body has no choice but to drop the weight.

Thank u everyone really. I am feeling the same but as my doctor said slow and steady is the best. I guess I'm inpatient and want it all off quick. Surgery was in May and I've lost 36 lbs down from a size 22/24 to a 18/16. Love wearing XL instead of plus. I'm just finding it hard to pick the best food choices I am also hungry alot. I wish all the best luck and I love this forum and making new friends.
