Solids After Surgery

Hey guys.. Hope everyones well and losing weight!

I had my surgery 12 days ago, and was only on liquids for the first week as instructed.. Since then, I've got my appetite back and have been on solids since.. I didn't do the puree thing.. Is this normal? I'm able to eat all foods and significant portions.. Do I just need a fill?? Has anyone else gone straight to solids a week after surgery? Thanks in advance :)

Hahaha I might need one from time to time.. Glad I can count on my new banded friends :)

Facts are facts, band has about a 50% success rate. Or failure. 1/2 of the newbies on this site will not lose or keep off the weight. What do YOU think makes one person more successful than another?

It's the ability and determination to follow the rules! Don't set yourselves up for failure right out of the gate. If you were on the preop diet you already had a taste of what hungry was about. That was your time to cry and complain, not now. Settle down, get your mind right and stick to the program!
