Painful Burping? Normal?

Had surgery on Thursday. My most dreaded pain now Is a stabbing chest pain that I get right after burping.....normal?

I'm dealing with painful chest pains too. Yes normal breathe through it. Cold water helps me and warm milk.

Oh me too --- that stabbing "I have to burp" feeling that is followed up by absolutely nothing!! I was actually considering trying something carbonated, but I think that is probably a bad idea. Walk walk walk.

Gas, make gas-x your friend. It will eventually get better over time. I lived on this during my early days. Walking and moving around helps.

Totally agree. I get those painful burp pains too. I walk, walk, walk and take gas x. I have even taken a prevacid that also helped one day when it was to much to deal with.
