what are your doctors instructions regarding your pre op diet?

if they they say all liquids, then no

Every doctor has a different pre- and post-surgery diet. A lot of people are on full liquids the week before surgery.

|Probably not

I did on my own Protein shakes Breakfast and lunch, then a small dinner salad with chicken for dinner for 30 days prior to surgery. I lost 34 pounds. Then 48 hours and counting, the doctor said liquids only, broths,SF Jello and SF popsicles. Since I did lots before surgery going to liquids after surgery was easy for me. I didn't starve as much. I was already used to what I had to do.

Best wishes and Keep the Faith.
