Do any of you know about the iband? Where they revise the band with actually adding a sleeve effect with it? I was told here by my sugeon in Oklahoma city that all his newbies are getting the combo together. He asked me if I wanted it because I've struggled so bad. I was really surprised when I heard of the procedure. Also any of you have tricare is there co pays?? Just wondering. Thanks

i have the implication with the band and i also have tricare prime....super easy to work with tricare (and regular co pays exist w/me which is $12 per visit)

but tricare approved me 1 yr in advance for 50 visits w/my surgeon after band)....highly recommend this. its not easy and its not a cure all. you still gotta eat right and exercise some.

I have the Iband also. Now, I'm not sure if what I have is what you're speaking about but my stomach has been stitched to make it smaller. It can be reversed. My surgeon mentioned that it's experimental and not sure if it makes losing any easier than without it. I know that I have a smaller stomach and that with my lapband and the implication I feel that I'm doing great. I had my surgery on 9/28 and have lost 32 pounds without having a fill.
