I am sort of new to this 2. I am 3 days post op and I read someone said it's called progressive burping. someone described it as slimmey and uncomfortable.

Productive burping, trying to get something stuck up.

Like baby spit up.

OMG, this is killing me. I am 2 weeks pre surgery. So when this happens to you, do you spit it out or swallow it?

I've never had a pb, but I would suggest that if you're fortunate to get it out, you wouldn't put it back.lol

Ppl either run to bathroom or carry kleenex.

You spit it out. If food gets stuck in your pouch then your body makes lots of saliva, well its really slim, to help push the food through the bsnd. The food either goes down or up. If it goes up you burp and presto there's your food. You do get a warning, your mouth fills up with saliva.

This is why we preach small bites, chew to mush and don't eat to fast. Oh and drinking makes it worse!

Hope this helps.

It's not that bad. And it is preventable, follow the band rules and you will see success.

The band changed my life. I love my band with all the quirky things it does.
