Been Here A While But New Again

Hi! My name is Felecia and I have been a member for 3 years.

I have not had the lap band, the insurances I have had over the past 3 years would not cover it. Fast forward to now, my insurance will now cover it!! Yeah, now that I have a BMI of 45!!

I am starting the process that my insurance and my Dr. want me to follow.

I have to see a nutritionalist for 6 months and discuss and follow a 1500 calorie diet and exercise program. I also have to see my Dr. (who is also my nutritionalist) to discuss any health problems I might be having.

I have to see a psychologist to discuss the pros and cons...and I have to see my lap band Dr to make sure I am following along with the program, AND I have to talk to my insurance concierge once a month also...lol So with all that I am just now starting my process towards the lap band.

I am nervous and excited all at the same time.

I hope to make new friends and learn more about everyone's journey.

Feel free to add me as a friend or however its done on here :)

Thanks!
