Get off the scales! During the first few weeks after surgery (up to 6 weeks before you have a fill) if is not uncommon for your weight to fluctuate. Honestly do not weight your self for a while, this

  • I disagree that you shouldnt get on a scale, measure your food and count your calories this early. I am a big advocate to start doing it right away so you do not gain weight. That doesnt mean that d

  • I have always logged what I eat, drink and my exercise since day 1. I also weigh myself everyday. If you do this you have to realize that you are going to come across bumps in the road. Take advice f

Watch what I eat I was still on liquids only two Protein shakes a day Water crystal light .....I don't understand when you say watch what you eat I'm not eating food yet I suppose to start on mushies today.....? Explain please

Every dr has a different regime so wasn't sure where you were in the process. I was just saying that from this day forward you are learning to live with the band...and while you move from liquids to mushies to food it's important to be mindful of your calorie Intake. Since you don't have much restriction to aide you.

I am of the mindset that people who don't pay attention to what they are eating when they can start are less likely to see the results early on. That may not be your case. Since You are worried about starting ... all I was saying is to try tracking what you are eating to prevent further gains. I am sure you will start seeing results

Really appreciate it ... Started my mushiness today had 4 oz of mushy chicken salad ....and later for dinner I had a Soup lots of Water and crystal light oh and a Protein shake

I'm so glad to see this thread and all the comments. I thought I was doing something wrong. I'd been losing steadily until last Thursday and I'm stuck at the same number. I do go in on Friday for my first fill.

This may happen more then once. I have been at a stand still for two weeks now. Nothing lost, but nothing gained. I just continue on and will wait for the ay for a chunk to fall! I have my nine month post op visit next week. No fills planned as I still don't get hungry. I'll ask if I need to change anything. Just keep on following the rules.
