First Fill Question

Had my first fill today and it was a breeze. My question is about the bruising. I understand the two tiny bruises where the needles were used but I've got a circle bruise right above where the port is. Is that normal?

Yep sometimes that happens to me. I sometimes bruise and sometimes not. It's gotten to the point that the area around the port doesn't have much feeling so I really don't feel the fills with the exception of the pressure.

My first fill was today - 5cc. I am a retired trauma RN so I expected I might bruise a little and it looks like I will. My surgery was 8/20 so I am excited to start this journey.

Very comforting to know Its normal to bruise. I got a 4cc fill yesterday and I sure felt a difference today at meal time!
