I have been to my first meeting a few weeks ago and having my first appointment with the surgeon soon. I am looking forward to sharing this with others who understand! Good luck everyone!

I to just went to a seminar, after reading the ends and out for about a year now. I have to jump threw some hoops before my insurance will pay so it will be awhile before I can get any surgery. My dr said maybe about april..

Welcome, you will find lots of support and information here. We are all happy to answer and questions you may have. Good luck on your journey.

I ha e a question for someone who has been through the approval process. My surgeon's office sent in my info last week on 10/04. I got up the courage to call the insurance office this morning and they said they received all the info and that it was up for review. When I got home today there was a letter from the ins. Company saying that they were lacking info. It was dated 10/04. Is this normal? Do u think they are lacking the info like the letter says or is this a formality? Or should I trust the ins. Rep I talked to this morning? Help! I am on pins and needles. I want this so bad!

It may have crossed from the time u called and the letter was mailed out. I would call back tomorrow and tell them u received the letter. Stay in too of them, I didn't have a problem but I hear insurance companies can slack when they want to.

Thanks so much. I have BCBS of Ky and from what I have read on here BCBS seem to be pretty good about approvals. I am so glad I found this app! My new pastime is getting on here and reading all of this wonderful info. Y'all are great!
