I'm Becky from the DFW area. I'm 36, a mom to 3 great kiddos, and so ready to be the best mom I can be. I had my consult with Dr. Smith's office yesterday. Unfortunately, my insurance has an exclusion for bariatric surgery, but my amazing family has found a way for me to have surgery. I am calling Monday to get the ball rolling. Going in, I had wanted the gastric sleeve procedure, but have decided to go with band with plication. Shooting for a surgery date around the first of November.
