Getting Really Nervous About First Fill...

I'm four months post band with plication, i'm down 60 lbs but something has changed in a last couple of days, I noticed that it's taking more food to fill me up, i'm not losing as fast as I was, thinking about getting a fill but i'm a little scared!

I have 7.5 cc in a 10 cc band and I've had 4 fills in total... didn't feel any of them. I remember saying to the doctor... "Can you tell when you put the needle in... and he said I'm done."

Most doctors/nurses use a very fine needle... nothing to worry about.

Your doing a great job.

I will second that.. I had my 2nd fill today and honest to goodness, I did not even feel the needle or the fill. My doctor gave me a shot to numb it (I didn't feel that) and I didn't feel the fill at all! :) I actually looked at my belly later to make sure there was a needle mark, lol. Your band is there to help you on this journey. Don't be afraid to ask for more help from it (ie. fills) and to maximize its benefit to you.

Good luck and great job so far!!!
