Ouch...what Did I Do?!

okay so i am almost 3 weeks post-op and still have a weight restriction of 15 lbs. and tonight my 6 yr old daughter threw a fit and i grabbed her by the arm and she tried to fall to the ground but since i had a hold of her i had her 47 lbs body dangling in my grip. Now my port area is in so much pain not even the pain reliever i have works. not sure what to do other than take it easy. i tried calling the hospital but they were no help.

I don't know what happened in ur situation, but I can say the wrong movement can make u sore easily and quickly. Mine wasn't a 47 lb dangling body, but a 38 lb kiddo climbing all over me for an hour and it took 24 hrs and a dilaudid to recover. I say take ur pills and give it a day or so. If it persists call ur drs answering service. Non wl surgeons/nurses r going to be useless bc this is such a specialized surgery/condition: go w the pros.

i tried to call my dr's office and couldn't get a hold of any one. and so i called the after hours number and the guy that answered was a moron! so i took my PR and have been laying down

I would give it till Monday and if your still in pain contact the doc. Until then take it easy.
