When i get my band on 10/10 (YAY)???Š i am also having a hiatal hernia and an umbilical hernia repaired. A bit nervous about the extra stuff and wondering if recovery will be a lot harder? Anybody with similar situation?

i had a hiatal hernia fixed with my band. which is kind of common in over weight people. you'll be fine. i have more pain from my port area and the main incision where he did most of the work from than i do from the hernia. every once in a while if i bend over to far or something than i can feel the hernia. but it's not bad

i also had a hernia (that i had no idea about) repaired

the only thing was that taking deep breaths proved a wee bit difficult otherwise, in my opinion, i didnt see it made a huge

difference to my healing (time).
