Tooting But No Burping?

Help I was banded on Fri and can't burb. I try but nothing. I can tell there is gas in my stomach. IS this abnormal? How do I get the burps to start flowing?

I think this changes over time. Post surgery I think it came out of the rear end more , these days I burp more but I still do both more than I used to preband.
