Last Supper

I have not been banded yet but i am already starting to think about what I want for my "last supper"!

C'mon, you know what I'm talking about, we are all here for the same reason!

The "last supper" is the last glutinous, gut wrenching, full to the point of bursting meal.

I'm thinking our neighborhood Hibachi All-You-Can-Eat Sushi Buffet.

What did YOU indulge in before surgery??

Well the night before surgery I had protein shake, cashews, and spinach. But before I started my 4 week pre opt diet I had a sweep the kitchen from Johnnys. Which is basically a pizza with everything on it. And I also had hot wings. It was delicious. But now that I am 5 days post opt and ive lost 32lbs since I started my pre opt diet. I dnt miss it one bit!

Sadly, from my consult to surgery was only 10 days so right away I started liquids only. So sad!

I start my pre-op diet Sunday so I am planning a trip to my favorite Mexican restaurant.

I went to the Chinese buffet yummmmm

We went to Joe's Crab Shack. I ate a whole pot by myself in no time flat! I have gone once since then, ordered the same thing... sat for hours and didnt even finish it!! I had lots of leftovers! So happy about that!

I didn't do a last supper persay, however when I knew when I had to start my pre-op (2 weeks before) I went to my favoriet Italian homemade deli and had a 6 inch italian loaf with fresh moz, turkey, roasted peppers, and balsamic vinegar.

that was my last hoooooooray!

hmm, wonder if they miss me, LOLOLOL

Oh my Yes!!! Ruth's Chris...Buffalo Mozzerella Caprese, Filet Oscar, sweet potatoe caserole, creamed corn, chocolate mousse pie and a great bottle of Pinot Noir... I've gone back twice since surgery and now I split a meal with my 12 yo daughter, little bites of sides. I still love great food but I love wearing smaller clothes much more!!!!

I love this thread! My last supper (before my 2 week liquid diet) will be next Friday. I'm having such a hard time deciding what my last supper will be. A huge pizza? Endless pasta from Olive Garden? A big juicy Five Guys burger? Ahhhh!
