Waiting Game :(

Hi I am waiting on getting my 5 year medical records faxed to my doctor and then my doctor send off to my insurance for a decision, it has now been two weeks :( its seems like its taking forever . I'm so ready to have this done I'm so tired of feeling tired and hurting all the time , and not wanting to do anything :( all my insurance required was 5 years of medical records , I'm trying to stay in contact with my lap band doctor and trying to help by calling .my doctors that are suppose to be faxing them medical records it just seems so frustrating , they told be I should be having surgery by the end of this month

I am also waiting so i know how it feels. My Dr. just sent everything in so i probably have to wait at least a week to hear anything :( I am getting so anxious. I just want to get it done so i can start making progress. I hope you hear something soon. Keep us posted!

How long did it take your dr to send the request to your insurance for approval after your records were faxed?

The only thing i needed was psych approval and a letter from my dr stating i was informed about procedure and will get aftercare. They approved in a week. I have bcbs
