Just Sharing

  • Popular Post

Started this journey in late December of 2011. Since then I've lost over 80lbs. This has been a life changing experience. I'm grateful for everything and I look forward to more success. Thanks to those that have supported me through this. The support is priceless. I have about 60 more pounds to go until I reach my first goal. Excited for what's to come.

Just wanted to share my photo with my LBT family. Best wishes to everyone :)

You look great lala' date=' you will need to shares some tips with me, I also got banded late December 2011 and have lost 44 pounds so far, I will like to kmow you secret, 80 pouns is amazing, was it the food, the exercise? Any advice...[/quote']

Thanks :)

I was banded 5/15/12 but I began the process in December of 2011. I started keeping a food diary (myfitnesspal.com) and walking. Since being banded I started jogging and walking further. I also like to keep it fun so I do Zumba, I play tennis and I do just about anything to keep moving. I've also cut back on bread and pastas. I usually don't put a starch on my plate so it's usually Protein and veggies for me. I'm always looking for ways to push myself. Some days are easier than others seeing as though I have two small children and they have me running all day.

So just get moving, anything, make it fun. Track your food so you can see what you're actually eating and how much of it. Get that Water and protein in. Wishing you the very best :)

Congrats Lala..you look wonderful....

and Carl...I love your signature...

Good Luck to all us banders !!!

Thank you ladies for all your advice and help, I reasently just got to my green zone like 2 weeks ago, took me 8 months, still managed to loose 44 pouns so far, lost 4 extra pounds in the last 2 weeks, so I must be doing something good, defenetly I will keep my self more active, super hard for me since I work in a call center, phone customer service, sitting in my desk for over 9 hours daily with no fisical activity at all. Will need to start doing something soon. Thank you again, you guys are an inspiration to me...
