Three Days Post-Op -- Click Click?

Hi All:

I'm waking up in my own bed this morning -- had the surgery in Mexico on Monday, and spent yesterday traveling home to New York.

Just a weird, but probably normal, concern....if I bend over, I can feel the port kind of "click" against me. No pain -- well, I have all-over tenderness, I mean, I WAS cut open! :D -- but just a little click-click that lets me know it's there.

Sound familiar, anyone?

Oh, and I gained five pounds....I assume that's water weight from the IV and the travel?

weighing yourself after surgery is just (silly). all the fluids they gave you, are you surprised? am i ? no. not really. dont worry about weighing yourself for a few more weeks. you need to focus on getting healthy and getting well. i expect you to follow what the dr's said to do. (or you are grounded little girl)...

as for the click, nope, never heard of that one. i am sure its fine but call the dr (anytime you have concerns) just to ease your mind.

again, congrats on the surgery. dont stress losing weight. you are now recovering from major surgery. good to hear from you :)
