People Looking For Mentors.

Please keep in mind, we are not getting paid from anyone to help. I've posted countless times offering my help, many have responded, but seems they have vanished again or have given up on my help. So I think it's time I stop offering help, can't keep wasting my time.

I'm more then happy to help anyone, but seems I get some real winners. .. one had surgery, never told husband, and then was getting surgery to remove flab, how the hell are you going to explain that? Another doesn't want to talk about band or eating habits, people, what do you want me or anyone offering help to do? I can't come hold your hand, cook for you, adjust band,be a mentor with benefits, etc. This is getting really silly.

Is there a forum/section on this site for mentor help? Is a mentor someone who has already reached goal?

I've been looking for a true mentor! A no BS Mentor.

Maybe now is a great tome for us to start a forum with some ground rules or guidelines? I for one would live a mentor as I go through my journey. Oh and I am "normal"...ha ha ha...

God Bless You! Julie

Thanks that would be great! 160 lbs. Are you still losing? Or maintaining or both? Any complications that go with the territory?

Complications...I hit few dead zones. .didn't lose for year, then kicked in again. ..

I am looking for a mentor. I was banded a year ago and lost about 50 lbs and stopped. I'm ready to work hard and get this weight off. Feel free to email me justneufeld@gmail.com

Steve, I was serious too if you have room for another!

Maybe it is finding a mentor / mentee with the right fit.

I would love help but I would need a mentor that includes regular exercise. Also, I am not at my best under 1200 calories a day so if someone were to say that I need to consume less I would say that that wasn't an option. I would rather spend two hours in the gym than cut my calories lower than 1200. Now, you want to talk about better options for those calories then that is great.

See, just from reading I know there are many people on here that would not be the right fit.

Hello all. I havent had the surgery done yet. Definitley want to I'm 5'3 and I weigh almost 300 lbs. To look at me you couldnt tell. As I;m getting older, I can feel it. By the way I'm forty years old. Need and want a change. Healthier life style. Just dont know where to begin.
