I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter. I am glad to hear that you are focusing on your own health while you focus on hers. Mom's often forget about themselves and that is not the right thing to do. Getting health is for you and for your family! I am five days post op. I have had minimal pain and so far I have lost 6lbs from the day of surgery. The goal isn't to lose right now but if I can heal properly, eat right and lose I'll take it. Good luck on your journey!

I started out around your size. I was 5'4" and 421 pounds.

Now, almost 8 months later, I weigh 286. I've lost 135 pounds so far.

Honestly, I love my band. It's the best decision I've ever made for myself. My only regret is that I didn't do it much sooner.

Best wishes to you and to your daughter.
