Not Terrible...

Hi!! So I've been here in the hospital since 7am and I'm not feeling too bad ;) my one big incision where the port is is a little tender. And standing up to walk makes my tummy feel like it's being pulled to the ground, which is not necessarily painful but it's a bit uncomfortable. Other than that I've had no complications! No nausea, in fact, I actually feel hungry but water soothes the hunger pain. :) that's it!

While I was writing this they actually discharged me! So I'm headed home! I'm on the other side now ;)

Congratulations! Wishing you a quick recovery and an awesome WL journey.

This is great to hear! I hope the rest of your healing goes equally as easy!

Great seam good luck and health recovery.

Thank you!

While recovering at home, remember to continue to walk for a few minuted every hour that you are awake. It helps to both keep the gas inside you moving, and significantly lowers the incidence for development for DVT.

Best wishes for a successful journey...

I had mine done on 8/7. I was approved to move to soft foods today. Feels like just yesterday I was on the hospital. Again good luck a lot of sunshine on the other side to look forward too.
