Port Or Hernia?

Ok, so I was banded on 7/27. About a half to one inch down from my port incision, there is some tenderness and the skin is firm to the touch. Is that where my port is that I am feeling or could it be a hernia?

Probably your port. If you lay on your back you can feel the port. For me, my port is below the incision line. Still check with the doc when you go in for your check up

I would think it is your port. That is where they usually place it and it feels hard to touch.

My port is in the center of my stomach just to the lower left of my large incision and I do believe I have a hernia on the far right side of the same incision. I go to see my doctor tomorrow and will have it checked. I know its definitely not my port as the problem area is no where near the port and I can feel both.
