5.5Cc Fill....wondering What Now?

Bygone have any idea about how much you should be able to eat at a meal and feel comfortable with 5.5cc in a 10cc band? I was in bandster hell the week leading up to my fill and somewhat frustrated with myself bc I knew I was eating more than I should have been able to.....and my obsession over food came back so I was grateful for the liquid/mushy stage (felt like I lost a bit of control).....I have continued to lose weight and I am down 26 lbs since my surgery 6/6/12 I guess I just want to do this right

  • I had my surgery May 11th and was experiencing the same as you. I have a 10 cc band and on Thursday he put in .3cc. I'm hoping this helps me as well with the feeling of wanting to much all the time.

You should be eating 1 cup of solid food at each meal three times a day. Stop eating when you feel full don't eat if you are not hungry. Eat your protein first.

I cant have anything mushy until Monday at lunch so it's protein shakes until then. Since surgery it's been 27lbs and 35lbs pre op so I'm happy with the results and still feel this was the best thing that I've done for myself.
