What Is This Pain??? :-(

Sometimes lately after I eat I have a pain up under my left breast or right under my breast bone. It makes me think "oh no I ate too much and irrated my band" and I lay down and it will pass after a couple of hours. I am worried that have I stretched my upper stomach? Well today that pain started hours after I ate and it is much worse. I feel it all the way to my back and it feels throbbing. I got on and read about gallbladder problems with banders. I hadn't even thought about that as the problem. Does this sound like a stretched or slipped band or gallbladder pain? I go for a fill in Sept and I am going to tell them about the pain and hope they do an x-ray.

I would personally go in and have it checked out now. Gallbladder problems, if this is the cause, are notorious for getting steadily worse.

That's exactly what happened to me and I thought it was a slip but it was my gallbladder and it did get worse, later came the sweats and chills nausea and the pain would increase in intensity to the point where I could hardly walk or move. The attacks have progressed to multiple times a day and I am waiting on surgery. Get an ultrasound don't wait because if it is your gallbladder it will get worse and even the pain meds will not make you feel human :(

OMG I do feel nausea today and my head feels kinda light. I am kinda shaky... I took an advil and it helped with the pain.

when my gallbladder caused me trouble, it hurt between my shoulder blades on my upper back. it was brutal.

hope you feel better. its best to get your dr to check you out. it would def relieve your mind and give you some answers. all the best

OMG I have upper back pain between the blades too! I even bought a new bed thinking that would help and it hasn't. Ok I am getting this checked out for sure.

I would NOT wait. Why go thru the horrid pain of gallstones? I have had them and the surgery. Enjoy life.

I checked with my lap band office about the advil and they don't have a problem with it. Very small dose. having an ultra sound tomorrow for the gallbladder.
