Banded Today!

hello! my name is krystina, i am 24yo and i was banded this morning! since i have a nine month old at home, i spent a little extra time in the hospital napping! the surgery went very well and there were no complications! i'm feeling quite uncomfortable from the gas pains but other than that no real pain at all! discomfot getting up from a lying position, but that was expected! i am happy to be starting my journey and excited to start a new chapter of my life! a much happier, healthier one at that! i look forward to speaking/sharing with you all!!! -krystina

thank you all! rough start this morning.. in quite a bit of pain! i knew i had it too easy yesterday! lol getting comfortable to sleep is such an issue! i never sleep on my back! & i believe i am feeling/tasting that mucus plug they talk about... yuck!

Congratulations and start walking more today to help get rid of mucus. And when you sleep on your back use an extra pillow to elevate the head position to help drain better. Best wishes
